M&H Valve hydrants across Sylacauga, Alabama, served as canvases for community art in preparation for America’s 250th birthday. The city was chosen as one of 50 of the state’s cities desginated as an “America250AL Semiquincentennial City.” Communities that receive the designation commit to highlighting the importance of citizenship through local programs, events, and partnerships.

As part of this initiative, local artists transformed into colorful displays of patriotism. The hydrants depict an array of patriotic themes from puppies and ice pops to memorials honoring our troops. Others promote autism awareness and even depict the Liberty Bell.

M&H Valve is proud to serve as a marker of celebration for Sylacauga and the state. For more information on the hydrants and Sylacauga’s “America250” celebration, visit @MHValve and @SylacaugaChamberofCommerce on Facebook.
